To colour or not to colour, that is the question.

I've been thinking about it a lot lately but I just cannot decide if I want to highlight my hair red or just colour it dark blue or dark purple. There is a promotion going on this month where it cost only USD40-50 to colour my long hair at a salon nearby which I find encouraging to my decision of colouring my hair. Then again, which colour? I have 3 colours in mind, dark blue, dark purple or any shade of red that suits me. Btw, I heard that red colour doesn't stay long on the hair as compared to other colours.Go Vote :) and tell me what you think.
Do you think I should colour or highlight my hair?
