Campus Kitchen

I cooked Malaysian curry for people working at Campus Wok / Kitchen (the restaurant that I'm working for) to try. Will be bringing it with me later when I start work. Hope they like it :)

p.s.: they sell curry too, but it taste different from Malaysian curry...which is way much better :p

This restaurant is owned by a China man, that have Mexican cooks and a lot of Malaysian & a few American workers for general stuffs. Most people here would request for the food to be delivered or just have their food 'to go'/ take-away /tapau.

This restaurant is pretty small but it sure have good business, especially at night. I work in the evenings because all my classes ate in the morning. Sometimes, I would be in front at the counter picking up phone calls from people who wants to get their food delivered (I'm still not really good when it comes to understanding the American slang over the phone -.-) and taking walk in orders but most of the time I prefer to work in the kitchen, where I stand behind the counter packing food. No, it's not an easy job if 15 tickets comes in at one time -.- and I'm there alone placing all the cooked food in the RIGHT BAG!

You know, there is 2 good thing about working at Campus Wok... the first would be the fact that they provide meals for the workers and the food is usually good, just coz I miss Asian food a lot. And the second thing is that I made a few new friends there and I'm happy about it.

After working there for a month, I've come to 2 conclusions too.
The first one is that if I continue to work and study at the same time, I WILL LOSE WEIGHT (which I did).
And the second conclusion is that people here usually call to buy food after they have sex and feel hungry after 'the exercise'. Why? Coz the rush hour is always last 2 hours when we are about to close and it irritates me coz I just wanna go back after a long day of work. Like seriously, do you know eating that late at night is bad for health? It will make you fat. Oh well, I guess 'the exercise' before eating would keep your body weight on the right track.
