Genting isn't as cold as it was few years back
Sunday, 5 October 2008

The family trip to Genting Highlands was a so-so event and could definitely be better if it didn't rain on the day we planned to ride some coasters in the mini/Malaysian version of Cedar Point theme park.

Anyway,

On the first day, during noon, we headed down to the pool to 'dip' ourselves but got out of it almost half an hour after that coz it started to rain -.- So we spend most of our time playing cards indoors, after dinner.

The second day, since it rained, we got to spend time in the casino. No, I'm still underage but apparently Genting doesn't care anymore about age limit (or just not as straight in the regulations) to enter the casino as long as it earns money from each soul that enters. Beginners luck, I have - since it was my first time gambling there, I won RM100 from the slot machine and then lost back half of what I won back to it -.- Not fun also...
The Cable Car to go up Genting...

The line we had to Q was as long as CP's latest ride's (Maverick) line. Fuck long.
The only difference is it takes 1/3 of the time you wait for Maverick.
Yeah, an hour wait just to get into the cable car can be a bitch, I tell you -.-
But honestly, it doesn't seem that long anymore after you experience the wait for Cedar Point's hot rides...

Then 3rd day, we packed and get ready to go back. On the way down from Genting, we stopped by to buy 'lemang' (Malay food - rice cooked in bamboo shoots and served with curry) for dinner.

Nth much. Bored as hell now. At least I got myself a free facial tomorrow, using the RM50 that I won from the casino.
