Cedar Point - Day 3

11 May 08

Was sent home today coz it rained. Stupid rain = no work = no money. Came back to my apartment at about 12pm. It's 10am now and my feet is still quite tired and i feel sleepy. Spent my day at Sandusky Mall and Meijer supermarket. Stuffs at Victoria Secret here is so darn cheap!!! And in one of the shop, they sell panties and g-string for only 99cents!!! Super Cheap!!! Will buy that later after I get my pay :)

Was suppose to get my schedule today but coz was sent back early so only can get it tomorrow when I go to work at 11am. Also, this morning I found out that I can post letters through the HR department .

Felt as though today was wasted coz no work although I got to check out the malls and do groceries with my roommate (the girl who sleeps above me on the double bed)

Bought food up to 25 dollars for the following week. Have to survive on frozen pizza and pasta before the other girls decide on how to arrange our dinner schedule. They still need to wait for another girl to come over from Singapore (sometime next week) to decide. Most prob we would have 2 groups and my cooking group would have 4 people. Really hope I can get that settled asap if not I'd have to live on frozen food which is so unhealthy and fattening :(

After spending 40dollars +/- on buying cereals, towel, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, facial wash, contact lense solution, water (no i am not drinking tap water no matter how 'clean' people here claim it to be), juice and some other basic stuffs on the first day (Day 1), I bought banana, eggs, sossages, apples, bananas, frozen pizza, butter and cherry tomatos and today. Eggs most important!!! Gonna fry them tomorrow and eat it with bread.

By 9pm, after having my dinner, I am lying on my bed already. So darn tired. Since the day I come to USA I had direa (dono how to spell -.- )

I'm not sure if I mention this before but CP employees gets quite a lot of discount like for Dominos and nail bars :) :) :)

Found out from the cab driver (Jason, he owns the cab company) that it's good to buy the Sunday Sandusky newspaper coz they have coupons on things to buy at the malls. I bought the newspaper today but didnt have the time to read it, was tired too. Will do it when I'm not this tired. Long day ahead tomorrow and I heard that CP will close at 7pm. The bus won't go to town this weekend that's why we had to call the cab -.- It cost onlz 2dollars to go Sandusky Mall from the apartments. I heard that it's the cheapest anyone can find here coz it usually cost about 4 dollars or more. People here are really nice and friendly, it sometimes still feel weird to see strangers smiling and greeting me.

I need to get cheaper IDD cards, it cost a bomb to call back to Malaysia. Still thinking if I need to get a phone here or not so that I can sms back to Malaysia at a cheaper rate.

P.s.: My fingertips are so painful now since I cut them short yesterday. Really not use to this -.-
