Welcome to Tangs, Pavilion - the freezer! (part 3)

Last Wednesday was suppose to be my last day of work but I decided to work today too (really my last day) coz it's a public holiday and the pay is double the normal pay :p

Yay! No more feeling like I'm in a freezer, no more tying up my hair like a school girl, no more standing for such long hours, no more sucky repetitive songs and no more meeting weird customers.

Come to think of it, today I had to be a translator when a China women came and I was so happened, the only Chinese promoter around. Pathetic enough, with my very poor Mandarin language, I conversed and assisted her for about an hour.
PEOPLE, be proud of me!
Despite going for Chinese classes to learn Mandarin at Standard Learning Center then because I did NOT see ANY difference with my ability to converse and understand Mandarin (after a full course and lots of money spent) I 'shifted' to Erican and to my disappointment AGAIN, my Mandarin did not improve.

So yeah, talking in Mandarin makes me suffer.

Another thing that I'm happy about part time work at Tangs is that I don't get commission, only getting basic pay. I don't know about you, but I just dislike the fact that arguments would accrue when customers are served by 2 or more different promoters - coz it's not like the commission from THAT material sold can be split.

The RULES for being a promoter at Tangs...

If you don't see me doing the written steps while I was working, it either means that you have face problem or I just don't like your face.

I kinda miss my long hair...

After working as a promoter for women's apparel, I've learned 2 things.
  1. Iron clothes.
  2. Tie a perfect ribbon.
Despite learning the above, I still fail to iron the clothes properly AND still ties an imperfect ribbon -.-
When will I ever grow up? Hmm....

Anyway... Simon Seow dropped by Pavilion to have dinner with me :) He brought me to Dragon-i during my break time.

I was so hungry (because I haven't eaten the whole day) that I only took one picture of the food we ordered (which contributed to the bill that came up to a hundred plus)

I didn't bother taking any more photos after this dish coz as usual, I was too busy eating... HUNGRY ma!
The cold chicken dish

So freaking tired now... gonna nanai early coz I'd be going to the job interview for the Work and Travel Programme tomorrow morning. Have to leave the house at 7:45am -.-
