It was half day of work on New Year's Eve and I didn't want to spend the afternoon alone.
So yeah... had
a very very long lunch with him again, this week.
Met up with
K2J for dinner after that and watched
Alvin and the Chipmunks to fill up time before Midzone.
Seriously, people should LEARN to NOT kick the chairs in front of them when sitting in the cinema. Please be MORE CONSIDERATE la!
The first half of the movie was good, love the singing, but after the part when Uncle Ian took over the 3 chipmunks
(Someone please tell Freethinker that chipmunks and MONKEYS are of a different bread and are NOT the same) the movie went downhill :(
p.s.: I like Simon, the specky chipmunk :p
So yeah, we headed to MidZone at about 8pm.

(first time going to a countdown party)

Media baby! I got in as a media :p

The amount of drinks that were stocked up for the night.
Rachel the dancing partner
(and the one who got my condom present at KY's party )and a group picture with
KimberlyCun in the middle this time.
Yea... Me -.-

Okay... so the party started and I got a lil crazy

...and so did Simon Seow.
Then at some point of the party, he decided to pose with my handbag,
I do wonder if this is going to be a trend someday...
somehow my handbag is getting really popular and people like posing with it
hence, JackO's handbag pose -
the chipmunk style.
and yeah, introducing
The Handbag by Rachal

fooling around...

More random pictures of Midzone party...
Hot chicks in white dancing

the freaking tall and scary guy -.-
spot the KY :
people that were there:

The awesome light:

I seriously do not understand why people were raising their hands as though they want to touch the lion -.-

Rachel and I were the only ones that actually started dancing since 8:30pm all the way till the party ended. (Or so that I've noticed. It might not be true since I was too busy dancing and taking photos in between resting time :p)
About an hour near midnight, it started to rain.
And NO! I would let mother nature stop me from having fun!
When it started raining and EVERYONE ran towards shelter, Rachel and I ran OUT to the open air and danced under the rain.
That was the first time in my life that I was actually under the rain for THAT long.
And as a matter of fact, I had a really good time dancing.
Certainly THE BEST WAY to usher 2008 into my life!
And no! I'm not letting other people's weird stare of me dancing under the rain; bring me down, either.
Here's a picture of us before the rain started and we were still dry.
and here's a picture of
me after the rain stop.

all WET!

here's a shot of how crazy I
can be:

It was near midnight and we were all getting ready our cameras to take pictures of the fireworks...
Here's me, pointing to the sky, asking JackO to take pictures of the fireworks...

he didn't listen and took a picture of me instead -.-
Okay, I admit, here's
me, POSING.

The beautiful fireworks that made me so excited :

A few more snaps shots before we parted:

The bodyguards :p

Simon and JackO
K2J and I left the place about 1+ and we headed to Jinjang to meet up with Cincauhangus + his chics for Bak Kut Teh.
I was superbly tired after "excessive exercising" (as how SewJin regard dancing for about 4 hours) so I had a quick bath when I reached home and jumped straight on bed.
I woke up the next morning with this still on my wrist...
... and I SMILED.
Honestly, I had a perfect New Years Eve.
